I got the Enigmah chip... not connecting still. (after 12 eastern).
I got another XBox I may be able to fix... so... uh.which wire turned that chip off... heh.

ok, i'm speculating here:
i just spoke with tech support and got a good idea of what's going on.
if your box was sent in for repairs or is a refurb, it probably will not work. because the xbox is looking for modded consoles, if all the s/n's on the parts inside do not match up, it will not work.

i'm more curious as to what they're gonna do if it turns out my xbox's numbers don't match up. are they going to comp me an xbox because they couldn't get the parts to match up? or am i up sh*t creek because their product stopped working within 90 days of purchase and there was no way of me knowing that this would have happened until now.

Modded xbox would not work as suspected. Put in new xbox could connect to xbox live service but my xbox live account is on my modded xbox which I cannot reach anymore. I tried an account recovery and it said "Your account cannot be used right now try again later"

This is getting beyond annoying. This xbox was bought on Nov 15th 2001 on xbox launch day. Virgin everything.

lol its not mods its servers as long as u lock your harddrive your be ok for now u think its just goinng to all be fixed at the end of the timer hmmm i dont think so ms are fucked due to people getting kits to soon

u said it your self a xbox u got on 15 with no mod wont work cant find your account this is due to servers ms would let you get a new xbox unmoded and use your account that would be the hole point they make money out of u moding your old xbox just leave it for a while

I dont understand exactly what you said but I think I get the gist. I am pretty much fed with this whole thing. Partly with myself, if I backed up my account to memory card before I lost access I wouldnt have to go through this stupid recovery.

Im about to just buy a new starter kit, and create a whole new identity on my old xbox. And how long am I supposed to "wait" considering I PAID for a year for a service Im not getting.. LEGALLY.
