They also said that the servers are going crazy due to ppl buying the retail kits earlie and gettin gon live, hope its just servers worse comes to worse u boost ms sales in us , cuas eya god abuy new box for live

Well fo those who tring test with 2 xbox..

Server from M$ could match mac addresse and IP and buffer them..  or It could be your  Router that do that...  So If you change the box but still use same ip it could do some conection problem...

Do a arc comand to see what ip is assigne to mac addresse..

arc -a in command line will show you all of your ip/mac address..

to release them all from your router wait 10-15 min ( to be safe) or do a arc command.. arc -d I think...

Well, due add further complexity to the issue:

Brand new xbox with nothing on it.  Installed the retail dash, popped in the beta cd with moto and whacked, cannot connect.  Used a memory card to put my account on.....wtf?

When I trouble shoot though, the new xbox can connect to the XBL network, the modded cant
