eh, i'm actually surprised nobody has posted this on this xbox live forum yet.  but yes, the retail kits ARE available at some targets.  apparently MS shipped them out early and these stores either don't know about the nov 15th release date or just don't care (i think they don't know, since they didn't know what the hell xbox live was when i asked them for it.)

if you don't believe me, i'll post some pictures i have of it online.  but if you check any other forum, i'm sure you'll hear about it.
