And not once have I said it is a hardware issue. I have said multiple times, that I don't know what in the world the problem could be.

I have tried all the known steps to correct what may be a software issue, so that has left me to think it could possibly be something to do with the xbox hardware.

I have had experience with NIC's that have been bad, yet mostly working before. I have had a NIC that never had any problem with trasnferring files off the internet, yet managed to corrupt all sorts of data from local machines.

I know this was the card because it performed the same malfunction in the several PC's I tried it in. An identical card did not have this problem in the same machines.

In that case, the data appeared to have been corrupting at the higher speeds. I don't know why the xbox would would be having an opposite problem, but it appears to be.

It has no problem being on the lan (xbconnect, system link, evox) but when going on the internet, it seems to be having problems.

I do hope a fix materializes for the problem, and I would be more than ecstatic if it is nothing more than a software fix. However, at this time, the only fix I and several others (including *MS) have been able to produce is a new xbox.


* Other people have dealt with MS for support in this matter and had to exchange their Xbox through them. for me, having a modded Xbox, this was not an option.



[EDIT] And, yes you have agreed with me. I only said it is a problem with the Xbox not the internet connection. Wether it be software or hardware is irrelevant. It is a prob on the Xbox end. Unless of course you think corrupt files on the Xbox is an internet related thing.
