I am using the 2.5evox bios. I hacked it using the hacking kit and made it the same as 2.5.colormod.noani.err.evox.bin. I changed the name of the Evox dash to evoxdash.xbe. I renamed the standard MS dash to xboxdash.xbe. I followed the instructions to lock my hdd as well. I have a PC-Bioxx chip(before it was sold to Lik Sang). I hold down the eject button until the default bios boots up. When this happen it will go to the dashboard. Here is where the problems begin. At first it wouldn't read the XBL Disk, or update the bios if I booted up with the Mod switched off. Since that happened I reset it and just went in with the EVOx dash. Once there I put in the XBL Disk. The auto update worked from inside of the Evox dash! I restarted my Xbox and tried to make it boot up again using the retail Bios by holding in the eject button. It boots up to the MS dashboard. I try to access Xbox Live to set up a new acount from there and I get a black screen. I reboot and go to the MS dash using Evox and I can create a new account. It seems as though even though I can boot up to either bios/dash only the Evox dash will work. I can;t even run retail discs from the MS dash if I boot up holding in the eject switch. You guys have any ideas of what I could do to make my original stuff work? Like I said I have a PC-Bioxx, 30GB Hdd, the newest release of Evo x and the Evox2.5 bios. Please Help!!!
