Yes... if you don't mind recompiling your kernel every time you install a new driver... if you can get drivers... wink.gif

I'd switch from m$ if there was significantly more vendor support, and if the gamut of applications were not, for the most part, GNU Public license.  Not to hack on GPL, but there really is no formal configuration management in the Linux world.  

Maybe one day.

well if you're all slow in computers, use mac or xp, thats if you cant handle commands and want the OS to do it all for you (which generally results in more crashes because lets face it, xp isnt v smart)

its just like choosing a manual or automatic car.

i went for performance at a slight sacrifice to convenience
