Xbox Hdd In A Pc
« on: June 10, 2003, 09:06:00 AM »

Say I have 3 xbox hdd's one in my xbox and 2 laying around. I want to get some files off of the one not in the xbox,is it posable to just hook it up to my pc and transfer files with the use of some kind of softwere directly to the xbox, or do i have to hook up the other hdd in the xbox then ftp to my pc then reconnect the origanal hdd and ftp back to xbox from pc.

its all so time consuming, is there a program that lets a pc read and manage xbox hdd's?

if not then I think this should be something that is being worked on. only imm not smart enough to do such a thing.

thanks in advance.

The HD's can be read on your PC if they are unlocked. Otherwise those hd's are worthless.

I dont think u understand what im saying. I want to hook the hdd up on the same IDE ribbion as my pc's hdd and then ftp the files from there to my xbox insted of ftping from xbox to pc then back to xbox.

I just need a program that will let my pc's os read the xbox hdd and ftp directly from that hdd to the xbox.
