Laggy Live Play?

Your bike "jumping" around has nothing to do with the modchip. That's surely just a sign of lag in your connection.

Same thing happens for online computer games. Go to www.dslreports.com, "Our Tools" section and do a speed check. For online gaming, you want to pay attention to your UPLOAD speed.

It it's anything less then 60k (ie. Dialup speed), then you should call your cable internet provider and talk to them to fix that.

Thanks for the tip although www.dslreports.com tells me I've used up my limit of java applets for the day?

Looks like I need another site for a test.  And yes, I do think it's my Cable ISP doing something fruity.  I upload to people at 45k-ish and it's never been above that for the 3+ years I've had it.

Just wait until the next day, and go to the tests again. Unless your a premium (contributing memeber), you only get 4 tests per day.

If your only uploading at 45k, then ya something is definatly fishy. Most cable provides provide a minimum of 128k upload ... and more and more are moving to switching people to at least 256k upload.

With the tests, you should be withing 10-15k of your rated upload speed.
