No, the Live Dashboard is not getting the settings from evox. It honestly won't even know you have it installed.

The xbox is able to configure itself, as far as I've seen. However, sometimes you need to edit the MAC Address, host name, or ISP username/password to make everything work ok. This can be done from the Xbox dashboard.

If your using a DSL connection (w/ PPPOE), you'll need to put your username/password in here. If you have a cable connection, you shouldn't need to.
