I will try to type so you can understand easily.

If the orange light is not coming on, that's probably meaning one or two things.

One is that if you have a router or hub or switch, it's not sending a signal. I suggest resetting it from the button on the back, it sounds weird, my router has done the same thing.

Two is the cable could be bad, or the xbox network port could be bad, unlikely but possible.

Try doing a power cycle on the entire network and see what happens

Turn off PC and XBOX connected to internet
Turn off Router/Hub/Switch
Turn off Modem
Wait one minute
Power on Modem wait for the lights to flash
Power on the router/hub/switch
Power on PC and open XBConnect
Power on XBOX and refind it in the options menu

Ah if you're using a hub, the internet can be picky, I suggest at least a switch or router. Did you try to power cycle?

Also make sure your XBOX settings are the same IP and Subnet as the PC's, or are DHCP
