its actually pretty simple.  If you have a halo 2 disk this will work pretty fast.  pop the halo 2 disk in and start it.  Go to system link, choose your character and wait.  Start having XBC look for your console, once it is looking go back to your xbox and press accept to move to the create new game screen.  Once your there your computer (XBC) will have found your xbox.  Hope this helps.

do what westond said. if that doesnt work go to the help chat in xbc. they can help you on figuring out the port forwarding or possibly what to do with some ports to see if that helps. but it sounds like it just depends on what game u plying. but defenitely try what westond said FIRST, that should take care fo your problem. peace
