Check for all the characters in your name, it may have allowed you to register the name however it may not pass for a good nick. The chat is IRC based so anything that works there should be ok, if the name is Choded, the bots probably are denying you access because of the Chode in the name, try a different one

The same thing happended to me and I was getting really annoyed, it turned out that instead of stratus my name on XBC was straTus. So all that was wrong was one letter not capitalized
