i too would like to know how to do this, not for gaming, but for weather on xbmc and other settings on there.  i used to know how to do this but forgot.

You'd need to connect your xbox via crossover to the computer's nic card, most new ones have a built in one, and then setup your connection to be shared using Windows ICS (google search it) and you should be able to after that
