I have 2 laptops with wireless dsl internet, one really old one and one new dell inspiron 6000 with an intel pro wireless 2200 networking card. I can use the ICS connection on the old laptop to connect to xbox live through that laptops wireless internet connection but for some reason my new laptop wont set up right. I plug the crossover cable into the ethernet port on the new laptop but the xbox says in its troubleshooter that the cables arent connected for some reason.

Ive double checked the connection a thousand times and have set up the internet for ICS but it just wont work. Why doesn't it read that the laptop is connected to the xbox?
How do i fix this?!?
