Wireless Setup With Xbc

I have 2 xboxes both wireless, a desktop, and a laptop both wireless...and a wireless router....

I have my xbox connected to my laptop with a patch cable...will it detect my xbox...

Or can I plug the patch cable from my xbox into the wireless router it has 4 RJ-45 outlets

i had the same setup and i wouldn't work i had to put it to a land line to make it work if any1 can fix plz tell us its a pain in the neck i have to plug into a big hub in my base ment that plugs to a ip phone and my pc plugs to the hub same with my box its just a lot  of junk lying around

The setup you described will not work.  The connection to the xbox cannot run through a pc wireless card.

Check this guide for working wireless setups.

I have my laptop connected with my wireless router and my xbox wired connected with a Cross Over cable. And it works. (I only had to change the IP adress from my ethernet card of my laptop to Automatic)
