Switch Goes Crazy

I have a weird network setup...
DSL Modem ==> Wireless Router ==> 8port Switch w/Auto Uplink ==> Xbox

thats my setup.. the problem is when I am on live or Xbc or Xlink kai... im in a game few minutes my lights start flashing and it goes crazy and my notebook (also connected to the switch) gives me a "Local Area Connection Unplugged" what causes my switch to do this?
