Well I can play halo just fine.. but then if I try joining or hosting a game I cant join or they cant join.. anyone have any clue why its like this?

I dont think so.. i think its an XBconnect problem.. either that or maybe the people i play with have there splinter cell updated or something.. because i can play system link with my friends just fine..

Our backup files have extra folders
could that be the reason

Maybe because one version if PAL, and the other is NTSC

The splinter cell we have has an extra intro were it shows you who packed and ripped it
its the full dvd though so im not sure why
Could those extra intro files be the problem???

i was playing in a room on xbc, and someone had a problem similar to yourself and couldnt join. the host told him that he had the beta and that was the reason it was incompatble. im not sure if this is right though, since it works fine for me.
