I click on yes to upate but it doesn't do anything. Nothing on desktop. Just closes up and goes back to my desktop. Doesn't ask to save anywhere.

Anyone know how I can update or if I even need to. All is well everything plays fine but on start up it asks me if I want to update eveytime. I can ignore it so it doesn't remind me but would it make things better if I updated?
