no, actually xlink has an optional app you can load on the xbox (must be modded) to remote control xlink to join and leave rooms and chat, and use the head set in rooms to voice chat. The headset will work in any game that supports it in syslink.

Xlink is entirely free, free forever.

You can use skins without having to pay a cent. And there are no ads, gimmicks or anything.

whatever you prefer, but the reason xlink had only a few servers is a recent outage. many people dont know its back up yet.
