okay my good friends that don't even have xbox live have given me there eeproms, but last time i tried to update the eeprom it didn';t work. i flashed it i  think and then tried but when i went back to config magic it was my old eeprom again. The way i did it was load eeprom.bin? was that the correct way of doing it, or is there a other option to do, like update eeprom just under the backup option?

elementxp....i just did that today and its working great =) here is what u do:

put config magic on your xbox and delete the eeprom.bin and only that from the data folder and replace it with your unbanned one. backup your banned and unbanned ones on your pc. now, run configmagic from xbox, unlock HDD, then load eeprom from bin file, then update xbox eeprom then load xbox eeprom and dont forget to LOCK your HDD and voila! this is exactly how i did mine, works great, and xbox live works once again for me !
