I'm sure it would be possible to alter the USA XBE file in order to play offline.  If I remember correctly, the Jap version had a portion of the XBE overwritten with F A K E G A M E R T A G.  Look into it and see if you can work with your retail XBE.

ok how about this.. the GC version allows you to change the sega server to your pc... say is there anyway to maybe use this to enable a system link kinda thing..  i just got my 2nd xbox today.. gonna mod this one purple for my girly. but ya. she hooked on pso and i dont get xbox much no more so might as well buy another one and slap in another x2.1 lite lol
anyways we gonna have 2 xbox lives,  and then 1 more guild card per months gonna kill a brotha.. it be awsome to play with systemlink or on our own servers...
