Hmm does anyone know how to make their own XBOX Communicator. There £40 in the shop and its a bit of a waist seeing as I won't use the subscription.

if you don't want one by xbox just go buy a cell phone headset.  just make sure it 2.5 mm jack... or something small( ask the people there) and it will work just fine...

What kind of headsets are you guys using, because I tried a Nokia headset (with 2.5mm jack) and it doesn't work! It might be because there is a button on it to pick up or hang up the phone (which is nothing more than a switch and a condensor in the mic circuit).

Oh I did open the communicator and its a small PCB packed with SMD components, I think it's pretty difficult to copy reproduce...  Maybe LikSang will make one for us :-)
