I think I changed it a few times (not uploaded a new one from another Xbox but automatically altered it with the program) but I still get a message saying Xbox Live cannot be reached. Could my problem be something else? If not, now do I get th EEPROM to take effect and work? I am doing this on an Xbox with a new HD BTW.

Changing the HD won't make things easier.

How are you changing your EEPROM? Are you using on-the-fly edit, or load BIN from file and update?

I don't think any of the above because I still cannot get on Xbox Live so I think I have been trying to Update the EEPROM without a new EEPROM to use. My XYZs when all settings are on Auto and I get past everything but on step four I get a message saying that I cannot connect to Xbox Live because it is unavalible:

X: 0000-F001
Y: 00C2-03E0
Z: 8015-1918

I need someone to send me their EEPROM and trust that I will not turn my mod chip on when I go on Live. Or if someone just has a spare they don't care about. Based on my XYZ's though, isn't my Xbox not banned? It doesn't give me the "Your Xbox may have been modified" text. What could be wrong? I feel like I have done everything. Thanks.

ps. I am quite the EEPROM newbie and don't know alot about them or what not.

So you are just changing the values in your EEPROM using Configmagic? That won't do anything, you have to get a real EEPROM from an unbanned Xbox
