Friend Request Question !
« on: April 02, 2003, 10:30:00 PM »

Is it possible to send a friend request to someone, if you know their
gamerstag, but that person is not currently online (that you know of)?

Yes. Just add them and next time they log on into their friend's list, the request will be shown to them. If they accept, they will be a part of your friend's list now, allowing you to see what game they are playing, etc

As long as you know you need to add them from the Xbox Live tab from your dash in the accounts area.

Yeah, as that is the only way you can add a friend who isn't online...

In plain english (as I am Dutch ;-)

Don't use the 'friends' function from inside a game.
Don't load a game in the DVD drive, just hit the 'Live' button in the m$ Dashboard.

Yes, that is what we told you.

I know, you told me that, but I thought it could be a little confusing for some people (n00bs). So I just said it again a little differently.
