see, i wish i could get config magic final to load. But i cant even get a evox disc to run. Can you run C.M.F as a dashboard??? As far as i thought you cant. I'm thinking im gonna have to suck it up and either buy the chameleon add on for the matrix, or buy a new box (which is my absolute last resort....that would be my 4th xbox) I was hoping that maybe someone would know of a way to size that bios down so i could fit it into a 256k file. A couple of days ago i read a couple posts about this subject but the thread just kinda ended without a solution. Right now i'm just about at wits end with it, any help or suggestions would be rad.

just get a new chip. X2 Pro, and flash it with the debug bios.

You guys are shit out of luck unless you purchase a modchip that supports at least a 512 kb BIOS. Your best bet would be to buy or build a cheap homebrew or go all the way and purcase an X-exuter 2 Lite/Pro.

still no luck with my box, I ended up buying a new one. I've still got it though, and i plan on getting the add-on when its released....although i hate shittybuy2000. Someone needs to kick Pixel8 directly in the throat for even putting that .bin out there. Atleast thats my opinion. If anyone still has any suggestions lemme know, but im sure im gonna have to buy the matrix add-on to fix this beast. Thanks for the support guys!

Hi
I did the same sort of thing (look for "fried my box" in this forum)
Try reflashing the matrix with the x2 4974 bios.
It worked for me.
