Topic: Used Bad Eeprom Now My Xbox Is Useless (Read 50 times)

Well to start off i got banned from live, but i had another xbox that didnt work well so i just got the eeprom from that and used it. That lasted like a week until a friend of mine plays with the chip on. Sooo i was trying to find another eeprom, and found PiXEL8-blank_serial_eeprom.bin. I unlocked my drive, loaded the eeprom.bin, and restarted. When it restarts all i get is a solid red light, thats it.....I'm starting to think im pretty screwed, if anyone could help that would be oh so great.

dude your a noob, as you can see from my previous post, i have a mod and it still wont boot up. Even with a evox disc. I know i only have a couple of posts but you dont need to post when the answers are already there.

theres a tutorial for it, you should try looking.
As for this blank eep, we gotta do something, to many people are getting screwed by it.

where did u find this eeprom from. Ur obviously the NOOB flashing a eeprom that u dont no about.

Ok guys, be nice. I don't appreciate disorder calling other person a n00b when he himself did this foolish EEPROM update.

i guess that was a noob thing to do, but obviously the guy didnt read what i wrote. I looked rather quickly and i didnt find that tutorial, thanx for the url. As far as using the blank eeprom....i checked pixel8's site...although it hasnt been updated for quite sometime, but i read about the .bin before i used it. I didnt know it would crash my box. But thanks for the help guys, really appreciate it. I will post again when i get home and let you know how it went.

im at work and i cant check to see what apps i have on my computer at home...but i dont think i have Eepromer Modified (as listed in the tutorial)....what exactly is that?? Is it on #xbins? I just dont think i have ever seen it.

well....round one and no avail. But i'm not through yet. I tried everything in the tutorial, but i've got some idea's of my own. So im waiting ever so patiently til i get off to work. I must revive my box

i think i stumbled across my problem....i cant flash my matrix with the complex debug bios b/c its too large. Any suggestions??

Dont feel sad..im in the very same sitution that u r in. i have a matrix too. everyone says to try a boot disc but i have no luck yet.

hey guys..
I had a problem sorta like this one..
however I didn't do it with the blank eeprom I did it with a 1.0 eeprom to a 1.1 box.

I at least got the animation then error
Sinse mine is a little different and mine had at least some sort of info in the eeprom...

Config Magic Final ..
has brute force eeprom flash.. and is made for this problem.

try it out.. make sure you get the final release.. (it has the instructions with it)
there is ways to MAKE it flash.. supposedly with you lights doing what they are doing ..

Check it out.. it fixed me.. just make sure your HD Is UNLOCKED first..
if it isn't put in a BLANK hard drive unlocked.. like a new one.. that was my problem.. but yours might be able to be fixed.
