Original Disc In Xbox

If you don't hit any live tabs, like play live, or download content you should be fine.  You should unplug the CAT-5 cable when you are done playing Live games though.

Obviously, I wouldn't reccomend doing what you said EVER, becuae sooner or later you will screw up.

Original Disc In Xbox

I have recently got the knowledge that not all openxbox/pc-bioxx IS compatible at least 100% with xblive. And well, if you got ur openxbox chip from Liksang, so the chip would have the lattice-logic of hardware revision v4, and that is not 100% compatible with xblive as there are reports that the hardware itself do not power down completely when using the eject button to disable it.

but your question in general would be like putting in an original disk, booting up and play xblive and then worried about mod being detected right?... first of all, it has nothing to do with putting originals or backups into your xbox. Mod is detected when a foreign/mod bios is detected. With that being said, it's not easy to see unless u have a disable/on switch for your modchip as original and modified boots originals the same way , or at least similar in most ways... just that original bios is from tsop and mod reads the ltp ports i guess...

I don't have xblive in my country as yet but the official support forums for openxbox states the fact i just mentioned, that is v2-v4 openxbox/pc-bioxx can't support xblive 100% ... and this includes liksang's version v4.

kind regards

cheers
