no tutorial, 56k can't support xbconnct.. too slow. I'm in the same boat, but I think I'll upgrade soon.

i heard of some people using xbconnect with 56k and playing tony hawk 3 & 4 without any lag.

u can connnect using a hub... In win me and up u can do the network setup and if u have 56k modem u just pick that as your internet connection... then u pick share your connection something.. (my winxp is in swedish so i don't know how it look for u...)

Then when u have a connection to the net start the xbox and then xbconnect and join a friend...

how laggy? like lockup laggy or just sluggish laggy? its too expenisve for dsl/cable for me now and i just wanted to know how some people played xbox online w/56K. i really dont mind being a lagclown

did you ever think that the people who shelled out for cable/dsl might not want a bunch of pixels jumping around thier screen, stop,start,stopstart,stop, when they paid for a fast connection to get away from that crap. save up, sell your crappy 56k and get broadband
