Yes... Many people have done this, and there are no issues with xbox live as long as you dont boot with the mod enabled. Ive had a switch on my system prior to the xbox live beta and have been playing live without issue.

There have been a few issues regarding certain multibios on 1.1 systems. Look in the other forum areas for more info.

****Obligatory Warning**** Do not flash the TSOP if you dont know what you are doing. Flashing the TSOP is one of the riskier mods performed on the xbox. Be sure to heed all the warnings reported by the tutorials.
