Blanking Openxbox Bios...
« on: January 14, 2003, 06:10:00 AM »

Well blanking the bios is supposed to work. I would really recommend putting a switch between d0 and ground. That's what I did for 2 OpenXboxes (v4) and it worked fine for live.

would it matter where i put the switch on the d0? Like can i install the switch by taking the wire of the openxbox or do i have to do it by taking it off the board?

I don't see what you mean. You just need a switch between the 2 poitns it's connecting right now.

ok i was just making sure about what point of the wire i remove...i didnt really feel like re-soldering the point on the board so i was wondering if taking the wire off the chip and using that end would be ok but it seems that it would be. Thanks
