The Evil Red Flag

The flag that we are discussing in the Ghost Recon thread, where is this flag set? In the eeprom or on the hdd? If a flag is "set" without connecting to ms' servers, then it has to be locally and there has to be somewhere to restore it to a "de-flagged" state.

Or PM Opjose, as I did a while ago with a related question. There is no flag set, and, therefore, no way to 'un-set' it or avoid it short of turning off the modchip.
