This is a crazy and probably stupid thought but it may be the only way to save ourselves and m$ knows it. If everyone had contributed their HDD passwords at least we could at least find a way on how they are generated. This may also need the serial, mac's id, online key's which 3 generate the HDD password. If someone useful like Objose, and Fuzzy would step in and learn how the HDD passwords are generated then maybe we could generate them randomly and unban all Xbox's by using certain macs, online keys, and serial #'s.
Like I said this may sound very, very, stupid and crazy but it might also work. And I know giving out this info could not be trusted, but we could easily just email it or PM it to Objose and Fuzzy (or whoever will take the task on) and they seem trustable enough with the info.
  It is one giant step for M$ and one giant leap for us hackerZ!!!!

Who agrees, cause if everyone does then I am willing to contribute anyway possible. But I will only step in if everyone does. And I trust Objose and Fuzzy mostly so I elect them.

U don't get the same hdd key if u change to another drive!!! So u can't generate from a hdd key!!! I don't know...  The xbxo makes new hdd keys for every drive.. The xbox maybe genrate from the serial of the hdd or something!!!!    I don't know!!!

I had this idea too BUT, I think I know how it could be done better. Instead of getting UNBANNED eeprom info (of whatever is needed), just get some BANNED info. The info would still be MS-acceptable info, but it would be in their computers as banned. We could still take this info to crack the code, since it is still "valid" info. Would this work, or is this still just a crazy idea?

Yup we should get banned info sent to whoever elected to look at and decide on unbanning the eeproms or whatever....

How can we get unbanned? Our serial numbers for our Xboxes are banned, remotely. There is no possible way to get unbanned, unless we pull a Sam Fisher and break into MS HQ and hack their computers and give all the info to Lambert to fix.

This is supposed idea a way to generate NEW numbers instead of the EEPROM switch?

The only way you can realistically crack this kind of protection is if you have access to the code that generates them.

This is why it's easy to come up with a serial number that lets you say install a copy of Quake III. The cracker just looks at the code for the installer (which is on the disc)and finds out what kind of keys it's looking for. You can't however generate the part of the serial that lets you play online. Because the code that checks this portion of the serial resides on the key server.

You would have to at least have access to the code that generates the info in the eeprom. So unless an insider at ms leaks it (which is just as likely as someone leaking the code required to license xbox software) then a generator just ain't gonna happen.
