Listen, I'm ALL for modding, but you MUST know the consequences of what you're doing when you do it.  You have to do it with the full knowledge that your system may no longer work at that point.

Yes, you have the "right" to talk about this, but I don't think THIS is the place for it.  This is a PUBLIC forum, that includes impressionable children (teenagers).  I don't want some kid busted trying to exchange his jacked up Xbox, nor do I (and I know this happens) want this Xbox to be sold to another paying customer.  It is NOT always given back to the manufacturer.

                                    I totally agree with this comment.  It IS theft and should be totally discouraged.

However, ( and this is me playing devils advocate   )  teaching people how to bypass security on a remote system, to which you have no legal right to access, by spoofing your information might be considered illegal too.
