people have done packet sniffing, and it turns out that even when it is disabled, packets are being sent, but the xbox is denied access. do you even READ posts? or are you just a jackass?

opjose is a very respected guy, and knows what he is talking about. i know he's not god, but he is very smart, and tries his best to help people out.

unless you know something we don't, shut up.

opjose did report that boxes get banned based on serial!! i don't know what you're talking about.

anyways, i'm not mad about what you're saying. i'm mad at you dissing opjose which is very knowledable. at least he backs up everything he says.

anyways, i have a questino for you. i the network settings part, where it is connecting. the xbox live not found error comes instantly. are you saying that is because it doesn't connect to xbox live at all? i find that to be strange, because that could be seen as a security flaw by MS if their banning system is local.

well, my tests come up with other info, as do my 4 friends that validate our problems. so maybe there is more to this that just what he says. and i did say in topic "no offense" i mean shit, of course i appreciate his hard work and good knowledge, but seeing as my problem seemed to be different, i thought it might be good to post about it. the more problems posted on the subject, the more likely of and quicker turnaround of a fix.

and yes. the more info, the better. but it is very strange info, but yet kinda makes you wonder. HOW would it automatically not find the xbox live within a second? i mean, wow. that's kinda strange.

I bet he's just seeing that 0 packets are sent in the XYZ screen. I agree that this info is likely false and that a sniffer is required to know what's really going on.

seriously, its plain and simple- the minute you attempt to connect with a mod(enabled-its over) ive tested a couple boxes, rented ghost recon and this is what i came up with-

box1:mod disabled- works, mod enabled, doesent connect and ceases to connect ever again

box2:mod disabled- works, mod enabled, doesent connect and ceases to connect ever again

Pretty simple, at least i think- the minute i try to connect with a modded box(enabled that is)...thats its done....

angone, don't worry. also, i don't think MS would be so STUPID to block access from the local xbox. that would be extremely retarded since it can easily be cracked. think about it this way. a pin of 250 (which is quite high for broadband) means 4 back and forth signals in just one second. so, it doesnt' mean he's right. and it normally does take about 1 second to say not detected.

but yeah. we appreciate the input, but we don't appreciate the down-put. hehe. that's funny. aynways. don't put people down. you can contribute and help, but don't criticize. just try to help us out.

I've show over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over that you are trying to connect, and that there IS an attempted connection for kerberos resulting in 4 packets (2 out, 2 in)

I am no longer interested in this subject. I'm sick of the misinformation.

Most of all, I'm sick of ppl spouting off when they obviously haven't analzyed a single packet properly during this whole thing.

If you don't see a 4 kerberos packets after a dhcp req,rep,ack,off/dns sequence, you are doing something wrong.

Or instead of being a jackass and calling someone whos proven himself a liar, you could actually post your facts? Because others have posted with sniffers showing traffic, and my xbox sends traffic...if you want to prove a point you might want to actually back your arguments up....or just go away
