It's not FUD, I called too and that's what they said, and judging but what others are saying, that's exactly what's happening.

I absolutely am telling you the truth about what was said in the conversation. The rep's name was Toni (sp?) and it was a she. She asked me for that XYZ info as well, prior to me inquiring about a removed mod chip. She stated that they have an automatic system that tags your box and takes about 24 hours to take effect. She stated there is 0 tolerance in place and that it's in the EULA. I asked for that dept and pleaded that I don't want to buy another Xbox and that I want to comply with the EULA and have removed my mod. She put me on hold and came back telling me that the person in that dept. stated that nothing would be done, and she reiterated that I need to "buy another Xbox." She confirmed that accounts are not being banned, just modified hardware. This is the REAL issue unless MS reps are lying.

I have zero tolerance for MS' bullsh*t. I may not know a damn thing about hacking, but I do have money, and I'm willing to fund any projects to either beat this protection or just make MS suffer in some way.

No doubt it's a horrible way of dealing with the mod issue. I just feel sorry for the kid who buys my used Xbox and is stumped about why he can't access Xbox Live.. All the new Xbox's at the store are v1.1 now too! FUCK!
