It logs onto the server grabs a bunch of IP's from the server and pings them, then it reports the results back to the server.

Its on the beta "Live" disk.. the one that has the demo versions of the games on it (games depend on at what time you got into the beta).

Just put the disk in, let it load, and like 10 or 15 minutes of no activity it will automatically start.

You can also run it manually.

It has a really obvious name like connectivity.xbe or something like that.
