if i have a xbox with a matrix, new dashboard, 80GB hard drive, will i be able to use xbox live? i dont know about live, and i ask this question as a total n00b. if my HardDrive is unlocked will it matter? is there protection?

i'm sorry, i think i worded my first post wrong. let me ask my real question. if i have a 80GB HD with a yboxdash.xbe as my dashboard, can i use live or will it not work because of my 80GB hard drive?

i was under the impression that i had to lock my hard drive in order to do this. are you sure that this will be ok?

Locking is for other purposes.
