What if the dashboard is already Xbox Live updated, cant you then just install Evox and play everything, or does it try to run update.xbe every single damn time?

i dont know the exact answer to your question, but its not that hard to delete the update.xbe file off of the games anyway, so its no big deal.

If you rename the dashes back so that Evolution-X is xboxdash.xbe the problem occurs.

Whacked, and other games will try to perform the update AGAIN and fail.

Drop the game onto the hard drive (or reburn) and remove the update.xbe file and you are fine.
