For an old school feel with a new look, D&D Heroes and the Baldurs Gate games are pretty good, not great but decent gameplay and worlds. Bard's Tale has the same type engine but is a little claustrophobic. Lord of the Rings Thirds Age, Definitely Morrowind, and even the Hobbit for something different.

Aw, guys, Fable is a very crappy game. Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker is much better, design wise and gamplay wise. Serisouly, just admit it.
