Want to win some of these goodies?  Write a GAME REVIEW.. using the template and rules.. and take the time and effort to write a good review.  Reviews that get accepted.. and posted publicly, will be in the running to win prizes.  Reviews that don't meet forum criteria, or are rejected do to lack of effort on part of the writer.. will not be counted toward the contest.

So.. your odds of winning.. potentially.. are very high.

There is no limit to how many REVIEWS you write. It's ok to write a review about a game already reviewed.. as long as you have something interesting and new to say.

Everyone is allowed to participate.. but since I'm editing this forum.. and I review the posts.. I'll not include myself in this contest.

So this is more random than skill of writing contest?  I don't know if I understand completely.  Everyone who gets there review excepted has an equal chance to win.  I personally would rather the moderators read each and choose 7 winners.  I mean I don't think it would be fair for someone who spent a long time fine tuning there review and then loose to someone who just typed an ok submition in 20 minutes.  Those are just my thoughts.

Also is there anyway to get past the filter that changes m.i.c.r.o.s.o.f.t To "MS" when posting.  I would like the full company name writeen out for at least one part of my review.  If not, it's ok.

The contest rules are finalized.

The reason I chose to setup the contest in this fashion.. is that placing winning selection process on the moderators is far too much work.

When they had to review over 100 guides for the last contest.. they were swamped.

Reviews that actually get posted.. are eligible for the draw of 7 winners.

As it is.. moderators have already had to deal with this forum structure.. which is setup so that nothing is posted without at least one of us reading it and approving it.

However.. to maintain a minimum level of quality in here.. that is the setup of the forum.. and the contest.

Yes.. seeing a name more than once.. means the names have/had more tha one chance to win.

Using XS Random script.. the names were placed in the script in the order by date.. then assigned a number.. and then a random number generator was used. (don't bitch to XS about your views/experiences etc about generated numbers.. or how you think the winner should win based on the quality of the review)

Since the Winner of the 6th prize has yet to respond to my PM's.. (and even a courtesy EMAIL) I am no holding up the 6th prize.
