Red Faction 2

I tryed to copy Red Faction 2 to my HD today and of course it need to be patched. i used a XBE patcher but it will not patch the default.xbe file for Red Faction 2. if you could help me remedy this problem i would be grateful.

if you are having problems patching games try to find an XBE that is already patched and save the hassel.  Or read the information XEERO has provided with a Helpful topic.

Use the backup of the XBE you did before you patched it

Does the game load? Not all newer games require a patch. Also, I believe a new version of the Universal Patcher came out recently at xbox-saves.com

Sounds like you may have used an older XBE patcher that patched the first media check that kicked the Enigmah Beta in the ass.  This won't do anything on newer games.  Download a newer patch tool like ADR's tool at http://www.adr-uk.com/site/download.php?op...p=getit&lid=272.  It originally had a problem where it would show that it patched a file when it really didn't, but I let them know and they say they've fixed it since.
