Ok, the only reason I put this in this forum is because I played it on my 360 and this happened.

Anyways, I was playing Halo 2 online, then my friend sent me a party invite. I accepted it. Then in the party, he joined his friend's game.

It was 4vs2 so there was blue and pink. Since we joined, it became 6vs2(don't worry guys it Tremors)But wait, when we joined, the game had already started. And my friend was already the right color, and I was on like tan or something, so I needed to switch.

But when I got into the game, the scoreboard stayed up, the background was tanish and didn't change, and right where it says something like "Winning with 2 of 5", for me, it said, Observing.

Now I was thinking mabye I could fly around the place or something, but I didn't even see my self, it was just a tan screen. Now I think I could've changed teams, but I didn't. It was really weird.

Anyone else have this happen to them before?

Is this old news?

You will observe when the amount of players is set below the amount of those in the room. When someone dies then you get to play while they wait out.

Ok, well, does the observer actually get to observe or does s/he just wait?

dont know if you knew this or not but while you're dead/observing and you press A it will switch the person you're watching
