My Own Halo Trailer!
« on: May 27, 2006, 10:20:00 PM »

This is a halo trailer, made by me for a school project. Feedback would be greatly appreciated, as well as (constructive) critism. It is made using Windows Movie Maker, as well as being my first effort at making movies, so sorry if it sucks.

Please watch/download and comment!

Hey man I think it's pretty good for using windows movie maker.   I've never used that myself, but it's not bad.

I use Premiere my self and of course it is way superior to movie maker.

I think it could use some animated glowing background when you display the titles and maybe some better timing with the music.  People love to see a hit or shot happen when the music also hits a very strong note.

Watch a lot of movie trailers and you will understand what I mean.

Like all things practice makes perfect and just keeping going.

Thanks, I'm working on it now, changing the less interesting bits (Jackal scene, I'm looking at you) wih some explosive crap, like the 30 elites with beam rifles mod or the "Elite Terror" mod (cairo station is filled with elites. I'm also trying to figure out the timing on the sequences, but the trimming feature in movie maker is extremely frustrating.

Thanks for the comments, and I'll post an updated version soon.
