I used to hate the beam rifle, now I'm finding it hard not to use it full time. Which rifle to you prefer?

Depends if you are going for headhots or quick kills as the beam rifle can fire twice really fast then over heat.

if i have both snipers, i.e. team snipers.. i prefer the beam because it fires faster.

i say human i like the reticule and the scope alllows for easier injections.

i like the beam, but i HATE the scope. so i just end up using the humen and when im in a tight situation and i use all 4 bullets i pul out the beam.

I like the beam because if you don't over heat it and watch your ammo, you just keep on firing,firing and firing.

In team snipers, I use beam as my main, when/if it overheats and I need to continue sniping real fast I switch to the human, shoot the four shots, and by that time the beam is cooled off enough to shoot again.
If you do it just right you can get about 9 or 10 shots off in a row without "reloading". By the time all 10 shots are off Im usualy swinging at the guy or they're all dead so I switch to the riffle and reload it, then switch back.
Overall I like the beam a little better. It seems the trail dissipates a little faster, its not as loud so if you're stationary you dont have to worry about people who dont see the trail using sound to locate you. A few other plusses here and there. I think it might actualy have a stonger punch rating too. Could be imagining that though

Me too. But... i I could only have one, it would have to be human. I like to fire a lot of shots really close together.... I miss a lot (especially now that I haven't played in months because of the 360).
