My Split Screen Is Vertical? How Can I Get It Horizontal?
« on: April 05, 2006, 01:34:00 AM »

Hello,
I just got a WideScreen HDTV and now my Split Screen in Halo2 when 2ppl are playing.
Does the split screen have to be vertical?  How can I change it to horizontal since it is much better to play that way.
Please let me know.
Thank you.

Toggle widescreen-support in MS Dashboard.

And no, there is no other way.

Yeah, but you'll get used to the vertical way if you give it a chance biggrin.gif

I don't beleive you can change it with a widescreen TV. Automatically a vertical split. Sorry.

This Is an easy one that stumped me for a while.

On either system switch your display in the xbox system dashboard to 480P for top and bottom 2 person play. (this will put black bars on the sides of your big screen but its worth it.)

720P or 1080i both yield side by side for the wide screen TV.
