The xbox /mod/HD work fine and was running ... locked and unlocked... live and with ava or evox with no issues.... I made changes (updated to new bios) Im not sure this caused the issue as a restore of the bois did not correct my problem..

IF I try to boot my xbox with the 200 gig drive that has been working fine for 3 weeks I get a HD 7 error.
If I power the drive from my PC and leave the IDE on the xbox the drive boots fine and will work on MS dash/Evox and AVA ... locks and unlocks fine...
Its not the PS...
The drive was working fine for 3 weeks.
If I put the org. HD back in it works fine on MS dash/Evox and AVA ... locks and unlocks fine.. spins up fine...
I have 2 xboxs and have swapped HD and found that the affected Xbox will only spin up the original drive... other drives give HD 7 errors unless powered by an external PS....
thoughts??
