Yes..You turn it off/disable it.

no, there is no way to have your chip on and be able to play XBL. because the bios are detected and you are banned.

actually i wanted to bring online because i wanted other people to see mods and learn not to be asses to mooders

The modchip boots a hacked bios and enables you to do all the cool stuff, the booted bios is also stored in memory, hence XB live can check what bios your xbox booted from and ban your ass if it's hacked. Turning a modchip on after the M$ bios has booted will do nothing, the M$ bios will already be in memory.

The truth is that MOST modders on Xbox Live ARE asses. They fuck the game up for everyone just to have a bit of 'fun' with some new supre duper cool mod they have got. Its lame man. Nobody wants modders on XBLive, Xkai or XBConnect. Sadly places like Xkai are starting to show MORE modders because assholes get banned from XBLive and shift over to XKai and XBConnect. Nobody cares about Halo 2 modders on these forums. Mods CAN be fun if its just at a lan at one of your mates houses, otherwise it sucks because modders always have the advantage of knowing what is modded and what they can do with it. Halo 2 wasn't meant to be modded for Live so why do it?
