i just want to know the pros and cons and your rating of xbox live(if u have it), to see if i shood get it or not. plus how much it costs(in australia)

xbox live is a really good fun.
It hardly has any lag, there are lots of people online, loads of different games to choose from and you can get hours and hours of fun from it.

The only downside is when you meet bad evil people who cheat. That is annoying but it doesnt happen too much. If it does happen, you just play customs with the people on your friends list.

I really enjoy playing xbox live and its £40 well spent

Live is great if you have friends to party with, and go around in groups to minimize team killing, "de-levelers," etc.  It really does suck to try and go solo into random games with random people, because a lot of the time you get teamed up with total losers who are just looking to screw up the experience for everybody else.

In Halo 2, it helps if you are in a good clan too.  Mine has regular clan nights, special practice sessions, and good guys/gals all around.  Nobody's really "hardcore" or anything, we just like having a good time.  That's when Live is at its best.

and live is awesome hours of fun sucks when you lose from modders tho but fun 2 hang around with em 2 its pretty cool when you can hit the ground and do a superjump higher than any other on the game...

32 or 34?? and who cares anyway, your team slayer level does not dictate how good you are, as there are 3 other people on your team to pick up the slack.
its just a dam number, play to have fun, not to get a higher number beside your name..

XBL completely OWNS!  Never gets old cuz every game is diff. PLUS custom games are awesome fun especially games like glitches where u can learn tactical superbounces and jumps.

Definately worth the money!!! I used to suck but now i can pone you all!

Well there are plenty of pros on Live:
Meet heaps of nice people
Out of 50 games or so I get one laggy one on average.
Skilled players
Friendly environment MOST of the time
Clans
etc

Cons:
Modders are usually level 35's and higher which sucks
Halo 2 on Live gets TOO addictive for alot of kids who start wasting their WHOLE week sitting down playing a game
Abuse over headsets
etc

One thing that I don't understand on Live is that all the Americans I play think I am from England or something but I am Australian lol. Some assholes try and be racist towards me and other Aussies and Brits on Live which is just stupid because we really could NOT care less about pathetic racism directed towards us. Truth is we don't give a shit. It just wastes time.

Apart from that Live is awesome just don't get addicted like so many people do. They just sit there EVERY day and waste their lives on a GAME. Pointless if you ask me. I think Bungie should adopt some sort of timeron gamertags where they can only be on for a certain ammount of hours a week or something. Would definatley help people get out more. Anywho thats just my two cents

O.k, some pros of Xbox Live are: very inexpensive, fun to play with friends, good competition, meet new friends, and play games with people who you can relate to.

Here are my cons about Xbox Live: Too many little kids play it which drives me crazy when I hear their voice, the little kids also use words a lot such as "noob, nub, loser, stupid, and other ridiclous things", and also too many modders playing in matchmaking trying to get their level up to feel good about themselves. I think if you're going to mod, especially in Halo 2 please do it in custom games, it's a lot better because you can screw around and make up good videos to post online with your buddies. Its according to how many game you intend on playing on XBL.

Its kewl if you got a lot of friends with a few different games to play.  
Currently all I play is Halo2 and PSO.  Most of the little kids think they are kewl cause they can cuss.. thats annoying but you get over it when you own them.
