umm..if it was overclocked in his computer, why would it help out on an xbox at all, it's controlled through the motherboard and jumpers, not the chip itself.....besides the cpu is non removeable

I overclocked a gameboy advance, and modded it with a DVD drive, and now it can play Xbox games.

Seriously though, my Athlon XP 2000 (1.67GHz) is running at 1.67GHz, I'm damn proud of that!

ok. first off, lets take this to a serious note, do you think bagel could have actually desoldered and resoldered a cpu? afaik the CPU on the xbox isnt in any socket, just soldered on to the board.
Also, i believe the 733 is on a 100mhz bus (100x7.33) Fitting into a 133 bus wont work.

And according to cheerio, he only OCed it in his PC. You can not take that chip out and put it back in the xbox and hope its OCed, because bios settings on the PC motherboard hold frequency changes.

This has been just a little wrap up of whats going on

Also, a tutorial wouldnt be too useful, rather pointless, would just be an overclocking tutorial.

i did overclcok my xbox cpu but it is saved in the bios, im gonna try using cxbe and see if i can get a ocing proggie for the xbox just for kicks
