Here is one for the A button on a Duke controller.  May not be what you are looking for, but I had it bookmarked so here it is.

Here are all the spots for every button of the S controller.

Let us know how it turns out.  My radio shack doesn't have any buttons I like so I haven't done any these mods yet.

Having an extra jump button is sick.  I added one recently to my S-controller and my jumping is much smoother than before.  You can start your turns and spins sooner since you never let go of the thumbstick - so you can do crazy jump-180-snipe moves that you couldn't before..  Very cool.

I was gonna link to jeremy's post, but looks like esc1 already did :)

Let me tell you, once you make these, you will NEVER go back.  It is so sick to be able to beat people down w/o taking your thumb off the stick.  I have done a few of these too. Jemey's controllers are the shit too.  He uses these tiny buttons that mount almost flush.

My advice would be to put melee (B) on the left side and jump (A) on the right side.  It is just more natural I guess.

You will probably need some paste flux to solder to the controller pcb, it is pretty difficult  to solder wires to, even for the experienced solder(er) :)

Good luck dude,I play with mine all the time, and actually have driven 30 minutes back to my house when I forgot to take it to a LAN party!!

You won't go back, for real :)
